What's Wrong with Kentucky?

This weekend, my family and I went to "Court Days" in Mount Sterling, Kentucky. This is a huge event with hundreds of vendors. 10% of the vendors sell shammy towels. 25% sell crap from China. 20% sell crap from Africa. About 25% sell guns and knives. The rest sell crappy carnival foods. When you get into the area with the gun sales, about half the people are carrying fire arms. I swear that I think most have brought their guns from home and use court days as an excuse to walk around armed. Of the gun vendors, I saw many who were blaring gospel music. There's something really odd about mixing guns and religion. But then again, I guess it's not so odd considering the role that religion has played in wars throughout history. Anyways... I saw the lady, pictured below, and felt a need to snap a few pictures. I couldn't get any good ones as I was afraid to be too obvious. This site, I don't think is that odd for rural Kentucky. This is a fat lady who's medicare apparently paid for a scooter. Notice what she is carrying... Yep, she's armed and dangerous.
