Papa Smurf's Secret Recipe contains DMT

Last night, I took the kids to the drive-in and watched The Smurfs 2.  Gargamel, a villain sorcerer, has created some grey smurfs and wants to change them to real blue smurfs so that he can extract their essence to fuel his magic.  To accomplish this, he is trying to convince Smurfette to tell him Papa Smurf's secret formula for turning grey smurfs blue.  Smurfette eventually gives him the recipe. The recipe consists of a bunch of sappy intangibles such as hope.  The only material ingredient was the pulp from a mimosa tree.  It is this ingredient that I found so interesting.  A powerful psychedelic, DMT can be extracted from the mimosa tree.  While over most people's head, I do not believe that this is just a coincidence.

And, of course just about every neuronaut has already made the mushroom connection...  Fly Agaric (Amanita Muscaria) looks suspiciously similar to the smurf houses.
